People turn to twitter to celebrate Africa Day.
Thursday the 25th of May marks the continent wide day of celebration known as Africa Day.
Africa Day is the annual commemoration of the foundation of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), now known as the African Union, which happened on May 25, 1963.
The day is not only celebrated across the African continent but draws in support from around the world.
